The Coalition for Trusted Reviews brings industry leaders together to fight fake reviews

Fake reviews undermine trust across industries—affecting not just retail, but travel, hospitality, healthcare, and more. That’s why Amazon joined industry leaders including Booking.com, Glassdoor, and Expedia Group to form the Coalition for Trusted Reviews in 2023. The Coalition continues to grow and add new members.

The Coalition provides a forum where companies share intelligence about emerging fraud techniques and bad actor networks, coordinate enforcement efforts, and strengthen relationships with regulators and law enforcement. When one member identifies a new threat, all can respond quickly to protect customers. Through working groups focused on bad actors, legal action, and public policy, members collaborate to stop review fraud at its source.

The Coalition has also established industry-wide best practices for hosting online reviews—including transparent policies, robust detection systems, and clear reporting processes that help businesses maintain review trustworthiness.
